But the romance was really good. I really enjoyed him kind of trying to rediscover his love for baseball and trying to get over his things that's been going on his life to prevent him from playing decently. But I do not like that aspect of this book at all.

I read this many moons ago because the cover intrigued me, the plot intrigued me, and I thought it was going to be really good, and I didn't enjoy it. But as far as like a baseball romance goes, it's pretty good.

But overall for a baseball romance, it's pretty solid. It's not my favorite in the series from her.

It's actually one of my favorite Tessa Bailey books. I'll just say it was my first ever one I read by her and I just really enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed this one. I thought the chemistry between the characters was really good. Isaiah's a great character.
