I love this book. I always recommend it, especially for atmospheric kind of dark academia vibes. But I trudged through this book like a person going in some thick mud. It took me forever to read it. And I did enjoy it.
🎃HALLOWEEN SONG BOOK TAG🎃
Yes, technically I could say atmosphere by Taylor Jre was very much a page turner because all of her books usually are. I was very much invested in this. The audio book is great as well.
I read this last year because I mean the cover ended up being on my favorites list of the whole year. I loved it. It's a very quiet, very character-driven, not plotheavy, but just like everyday witchy vibes. freaking ate this up.
Also, Dysfunctional Family: Darling Girls by Sally Hepworth. I read this one. Did I read this year? I can't even remember now. But this is about three girls that were foster sisters and you know the scene of the crime of their foster families coming up and things are arising and it's very dysfunctional but in a great mystery thriller.
I read the second one, loved it.
First up, when I think dysfunctional characters, I will always say in my dreams I Hold a Knife by Ashley Winstead. I love this book. Adore it. And so they're all just horrible characters, but this book sucks you in, man.
This is about a character named Jet who I will always just say she's kind of a dick. Okay, she gets attacked and she has like one week left to live and so she has to figure out who attacked her and her family is very much very dysfunctional. Oh my gosh. But it's a great book.
This one surprised the best mess out of me. I devoured it. It's short, but you will fly through it because it's so haunting and just beautiful. Everything about it.
I am here to say the book is way better than the show. And the whole book is interesting because it's set from his perspective as the stalker. Usually it's not. So it's very creepy. It gives me the creeps 100%.
