Back to You was like my most anticipated book of this year, and I didn't end up loving it.
END OF SUMMER BOOK TAG
I loved her book First Time Caller, and I was so excited.
Good Spirits. I love that book. I have never put a holiday book on my top 10 except for last year. I was not expecting to love that book as much as I did.
Without a doubt, Rules for the Summer by Megan Quinn. Loathed that book. I'm mad I wasted my time on it, honestly. I did not enjoy it, didn't enjoy the romance, didn't enjoy the plot.
The only one I could think of is maybe Maren from Sea of Charms. This is the third book, and her cozy fantasy series. We've seen Maren in a couple of the past books. She is a sea merchant, and she's sailing a lot. I didn't love the book, but I enjoyed it, and I enjoyed Maren, so there's that.
I read Fellowship of the Ring. I consider it a classic. I really enjoyed it. I did really, really love listening to the Fellowship of the Ring, the Phil Dragash version on Spotify. Chef's kiss. Easily the best audiobook I have ever listened to.
The Romance Royale by Christina Lauren. A lot of people haven't loved this one. I really liked it. It's a second chance romance about a marriage that kind of gets a do-over, if you will. And I really enjoyed it.
The Unknown by Riley Sager. I did really enjoy this one. It's a perfect summer book to kind of go into fall. It's like this creepy paranormal island. I really enjoyed it.
