Did not enjoy it. Like, I have learned that I have just loved Daisy Darker by Alice Feny, and that's been the only one. I did not like Beautiful Ugly really at all.
FIRST QUARTERLY WRAP UP| 2025
Also, Beg, Borrow, or Steel was a great romance.
I read Bride Made for Hire by Megan Quinn. Three and a half out of five.
And lastly, in February, I finally read Butcher and Blackbird by Bin Weaver. Four out of five.
Check and Mate by Ally Hazelwood, four out of five.
Country by Claire Leslie Hall. Three out of five.
It was too intense. It had a lot of unnecessary gore and other things in my opinion. So, I just did not like it.
I read Darling Girls by Sally Hepworth, four out of five.
It was like a steamier new adult kind of romance that was very, very steamy. I freaking ate this drink up. Ate it up.
I read Dream Girl Drama by Tessa Bailey, three out of five.
Enchantra by Kaylee Smith, another four out of five.
And I love this one. I ended up giving it a five out of five.
Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry, four out of five.
I finally finished the second book in the series, Iron Flame by Rebecca Yurs, which I gave it a four out of five to.
First off, the first book I read was Kill for Me, Kill for You by Steve Kavanagh. I gave it a four out of five. It was a really good thriller in my opinion.
And I would also say Out of the Woods by Hannah Bow Young, in particular, if you've been married for a while, is a great romance.
Passion Project by London Spiri, four out of five.
Promise Me Sunshine by Kira Bastone, three and a half out of five.
And lastly, Say You Remember Me by Abby Jimenez, four and a half out of five.
The Sirens by Ameilia Hart, three out of five.
And lastly, Summer in the City by Alex Aster. Three and a half out of five.
She did really well with this. Like, I cried a lot.
I love this one. A lot of people don't like it. I think it's just a fun spy novel.
Love this one. Wasn't expecting to love it, but ate it up.
So it was very interesting and very thoughtprovoking and intense. Highly recommend.
The Maid's Diary by Laurith Anne White. Three and a half out of five.
I did really enjoy it. She knows how to craft a story. She knows how to get you invested from page one and I loved it.
So glad I did. Amazing. like just phenomenal.
Wild and Wrangle by Llaya Sage. Three out of five. Three and a half out of five.
