It's such a fun book. I cannot wait to finish it. It has that type of co-worker banter that I feel the Hating Game was trying to be, but as you know, I really didn't like that book.

It has all the vibes. It has so many cats. It has just an extremely appealing premise. Unfortunately, it is the most disappointing read this half a year.
It's just so wholesome. I feel like this is the romance to me that was done very well. There was yearning, there was uncertainty.
So I already knew I'm going to like this book. I gave it five stars previously when I read it for the first time. It was instant favorite book.
I feel like it was wrapped up in so much character development and just really digestible prose whilst keeping the plot consistent and going and intriguing. It just was really a great time my sweet time reading this and I think it was a perfect journey as well.
I ended up DNFing it around 50-60% and I do feel validated because I was reading this together with Logan and we both decided to DNF at the same time. I was disappointed because, you know, it's time travel, it's speculative, it's commentary on society. Those are all my favorite things in a book, so big sad on that one.
