I have to put the Mortal Instrument series in ahead of its time. ... Is it problematic? Absolutely. Was it also iconic and ahead of its time? Yes.

But I actually reread this last year and it was really bad. It wasn't as bad as I expected it to be and it wasn't nearly as bad as some of the other Hunger Games knockoffs, but it still wasn't good.
Divergent, which is one of my personal least favorite dystopia novels, especially of that time of the popular ones. I hate this book.
Yeah, she's she's going in the Twilight dupes tier. Another one of the bad ones. Definitely one of the worst on that list. ... it was just not very good.

You all know I don't really talk about Harry Potter on here anymore, but obviously it was like a very profoundly influential series in my childhood. I'm going to put this in why I am the way I am derogatory. As I've gotten older, my love for this series really has deteriorated so much...

controversial opinion, I didn't really like Looking for Alaska very much. I know a lot of people really love it. Maybe I'd like it some more if I read it again, but I just I thought it was okay at best.
I did not like it when I read it back then. So, I don't want to put it in the bottom tier cuz I don't remember if I actually think it's that bad. So, I'm just going to put it in Switzerland for now. This was another vampire paranormal type series that was just not very good.
Matched easily goes into the bad Hunger Games dupes tier. It's it's worse than Delirium, so it's going before that one. I could not finish the second book in this series, even back then. It was not good.
New Moon was easily my favorite one, and that is why in particular, this one has to go into why I am the way I am derogatory. Like, why was I at 13 years old so utterly obsessed with New Moon and just reading and rereading Bella being so unbelievably depressed and suicidal for like 500 pages just over and over again?
I know everybody hates the ending of Ruin and Rising. I am a part of the people who have the less popular opinion that the epilogue and the ending of that book is actually perfect.
It's going in the bottom tier simply for America Singer. It's not the worst book I've ever read, don't get me wrong, but it's close. And I just hated my experience of reading it so much.
I am putting in ahead of its time because I believe it to be ahead of its time. ... I ended up really, really loving the series as a whole. ... I do think that this as a series is underrated.

This, I think, is one of the first contemporary books I ever read... And that book changed my life. I read so many books because I read that book and I loved it so deeply.

This is easily going in the top tier because it is one of my favorite series of all time to this day. ... life-changing series. a staple of the dystopian genre.
This one easily has to go into Forever Classic. ... But I still think it's forever a classic. It's a fantastic series.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower is to this day still one of my favorite books of all time. I think it's such a phenomenal young adult novel.
I'm going to put this in I'm Switzerland because I think they're okay. I think when I first read them, I kind of liked them cuz I was surprised by them. I didn't think I would like them at all and I ended up not hating them.
I literally hate these books now. I've talked about this many times. I tried to reread Twilight, I want to say 5, six years ago or something now, and I just couldn't do it. I couldn't even get past 100 pages.
