I'm afraid it will never be enough. Now that taste of freedom, of normalcy, calls to me. But so does the blood.."--

Now, installed again in her family's Victorian mansion, Camille is haunted by the childhood tragedy she has spent her whole life trying to cut from her memory.HARMFUL on her wrist, WHORE on her ankleAs Camille works to uncover the truth about these violent crimes, she finds herself identifying with the young victims--a bit too strongly. Clues keep leading to dead ends, forcing Camille to unravel the psychological puzzle of her own past to get at the story. Dogged by her own demons, Camille will have to confront what happened to her years before if she wants to survive this homecoming. With its taut, crafted writing, Sharp Objects is addictive, haunting, and unforgettable. From the Hardcover edition.

Loved it

this book really surprised me it had been a very long time since I had read a sci-fi mystery government type book it had been a really long time and this one just really stuck with me I read this at the beginning of the year and absolutely loved it

Not a fan

This one I tried on audiobook and it was so boring and I had been reading it, listening to it, for days and I could have sworn to you guys I was like 200 pages in and I looked at the book and I was 56 pages into this book and it felt like it had taken me ages to get just 56 pages in the book. So to me it was boring, a lot of info dumpy, and like I didn't really know why the things were happening but I could tell you exactly all the little booby traps the character would set up for herself whenever she would go to bed at night so that no one could get her but I didn't really understand why people cared to come after her.
