Crime and Punishment (1956)

But Crime and Punishment feels modern. It is as good a thriller as you're going to read and just seeing this character go through this guilt is one of the best things I've ever read in my lifetime.

I was disappointed in a lot of the novels stylistic renderings but you know at the same time even though I thought it was like riddled with cliches and what have you I did enjoy struggling with dostoevsky's philosophical ideas and I do recommend reading the book once
