I didn't find our main character G particularly interesting I found the writing style to be more kind of detached and I didn't feel anything the entire time I was reading this book.

this one is kind of a mixed bag for me because I really loved the premise of this manga the beginning kind of tapered off I got about 15 volumes in and it really started tapering off... it was the fight scenes and the action scenes that really threw me for a loop because I had no idea what was happening.
I read bride by Ali Hazelwood and I regret my life decisions so much... this book is awful it's so bad it is pure like garbage fanfiction that got published.
I could not have been more disappointed about this... I feel like Pierce Brown really lost his way in Dark Age.
happy place really missed the mark for me for so many reasons I did not like the main love interest couple which is kind of the main point of a romance so if you don't like them are you really going to have that good of an experience probably not.
I did read the book after this after a short break and will definitely be the first to admit that is a return to form and I can see the work he put in to reenter and find the characters.
it is good it's well written Larry McMurtry is a master of the western storytelling craft there's no doubt about that... I just couldn't bring myself to like this book.
I love it so much especially the third book Morning Star one of my favorite books ever written I adore the characters of that series.
I was so disappointed you guys I really struggle with nullifying character agency especially at the end of a series it feels like such a cheap shot to me and it makes me so frustrated and annoyed that I don't like it and I feel like that's what happened in this series.
I actively hated this book I say that very easily because it was the content of this book that really got such a strong reaction for me not the writing style.
this book made me so angry reading it there was so little substance in this story... I did not like the characters I found them to be incredibly flat and just one note.
I loved the opening of this book you guys the World building the writing style the atmosphere of the book was so mysterious and Abstract but in a way that I felt very immersed in which is rare for me and I loved it. And then I got about 20 to 25% in when the Gunslinger reaches a town and as soon as we got to the town the amount of sexual content that was in this book just skyrocketed.
