This is book one of his series and it is just so interesting in how creative it is, in how it takes fantasy in a new direction.

All the pretty horses is beautifully written, very sparse, very stripped back, some big twists as well. I thought the middle dipped a bit, but the ending is also excellent.
It is horrifying and it is technically a horror book because of some elements which we won't say because I think some people prefer the revelation of that and picking it up, but I'd put it more in historical fiction because those horror elements and my main enjoyment and what I took from this book is because of the historical importance.
The company of the wolf is him at his very best. The dialogue is laugh out loud funny. There are emotional moments that did make me tear up.
This is a fantastic story. It's 12 over 1200 pages. It does not read like a 1200 page book.
This book will pierce your heart. It is Dark Age by Pierce Brown. It's my third favorite of the year.
Like Golden Sun is that non-stop kind of adrenalinefueled cyber adventure. You know, it's got twist after twist after twist.
The hunters was brilliant.
I would love to talk about Jade Legacy as Will spoke about in our previous video which is the ending the final the final book of the Green Bone Saga and it is that kind of Godfather style generational gangster fantasy story. It's brilliant the way that time is explored the way that character arcs are fully realized.
This is a titan of a book that despite its size because of his short sharp chapters kind of different story lines and different kind of phases of the story it feels like it really moves fast. It doesn't feel like a huge book but at the same time you feel like you go on a real journey with the characters.
Lightbringer is everything that a book could, would should be. It has probably the most emotional things I've read in a book since I read Ruin by the little known Papa John Gwyn.
It is absolutely heartbreaking and so inspirational how you'll read a passage which is utterly harrowing and within a page you feel uplifted because of how he uses it in such a positive way.
I've read Mongrels by him as well now which is a great take on werewolves.
Morning Star, Golden Sun. Incredible.
It's a fantastic book, too. It does everything that made book one great, but e kind of ramps it up to a 10 to 11 and a 12.
I think that the opening chapters one of the best I've ever read then it took me a while to kind of get invested into the characters but once I was this was heart-wrenching and quite a tough read in many ways because it just doesn't let up.
It's still excellent, but that's why it's an honorable mention instead of the top 10. I'd say the actual experience was sensational, but it's not as longived and it's not improving with time
