I think it's a bit hard to digest I mean I'm not sure it's a good introduction to Hemingway. If you're not prepared with this kind of book it may seem like a pointless maybe like a heartless book it's not at all I'd suggest you start with something else.

I didn't really expect you to like a moveable feast when I read it but I actually loved it's I think it's probably the most enjoyable book by Hemingway I've ever read.

A sort of minor Hemingway novel across the river and into the trees which I like very much it's anyways Venice novel is he set almost entirely in Venice. I think it's a small probably underestimated masterpiece its portrayal of Venice is beautiful.

That's the obvious masterpiece it's an possibly the best war novel I've ever read and portrays the horror and the absurdity of war and the contradictions of it. The last few pages of this book are probably my favorite pages in all of Hemingway it deserves the status it has in my opinion.

The relationship friendship between this old man and his young friend this young apprentice is one of the most heartwarming moments in all of Hemingway's and it's not like there's an abundance of those in his entire oeuvre. This is probably a good introduction into his works also because it's very short and because it tends to be lighter.

It's a must read it's one unneeded book it's one of those books you just have to read if you're passionate about literature. Reading these stories it struck me much more heavily in a much stronger way than when I read anyways novels.

This is really one of the most tragic books I've ever read it's I again a tragic story of war mutilation the impossibility to accomplish love and to be happy in life while at the same time trying to carrying on.
