this one to me while lovingly familiar and I really enjoyed relating to morwenna who likes science fiction as well the story itself didn't have any science fiction or fantasy in it and I really didn't feel like the story itself pushed the boundaries of the genre

this book is one that had everything about science fiction that I should love who doesn't like AI who doesn't like stories of Vengeance and yet I found it really hard to relate to this character I found myself often confused with the writing often confused with the storyline it wasn't very well done in terms of pacing
this is a fantastic story it was a fun alternate history but let's be real Connie Willis is a comfort read and she's not really pushing the genre in these stories while they're still fantastic and very fun I still enjoyed them
I think it's because this one is the most superficial of all of the Hugo Award winners of this entire decade and I while enjoyed red shirts wanted something that had a little bit more substance to win in this spot
I have to admit that when I first read this book I wasn't as over the moon about it as everyone else was what's the big deal what's the big deal but this story has grown on me over time despite the fact that I had have yet to reread this story
I take it very seriously when I say this is the worst China maval book that I have read now that said China is a fantastic writer so this book is still really good it's just not his best in my opinion
I still remember sitting in that chair over there and finishing the fifth season and just having that moment that mic drop moment of that perfect last line I cannot think of a single word a single comma a single plot point that I would change in all of that first story I think it's a masterpiece
this is book number two in the broken Earth series and to be honest I just didn't think that book number two was that fantastic to have taken a Hugo away from any of the other authors who were there that year I think it was a great book number two but it wasn't a Hugo winning story
again a incredible conclusion to the Trilogy one that I still think about however I just don't know that the whole series deserves a Hugo and that's why it's a little bit lower on my list
this one is a incredible hard sci-fi climate thriller story I absolutely adored it I read this story in college I have not reread it and I still remember details of the story
I think this is one of those stories that's going to become a modern classic so I really highly recommend it it is such an impactful tale despite the fact that it has terrible characterization but what an incredible story
