there are some great ideas in the book that I think are well executed by chovsky and I enjoyed it a lot although I think had less going for it than dogs of war and I give it a seven out of 10 of planetary pleasure
TIER RANKING the 9 sci fi books I read in April 2024
- Ranking · 9 books
I did have to work a little bit to get past the slightly clever Pros the witty remarks but like I say it rewards a patient reader I liked it eight out of 10 EST Stella Splender
so it's not a fun story and to be honest for me it lacked interest I was a bit dis pointed 6 out of 10 nebulous narrative
so overall it was a good book but not a great book 6 and a half out of 10 straddling the boundary between nebulous narrative and planetary pleasure
despite its flaws I recommend it 7 out of 10 a planetary pleasure
to be honest while it was fun at times out of the dark was pretty weak and I'm not in a huge rush to read the next one into the light five out of 10 a nebulous narrative
I enjoyed it well enough to read on at some point and I hear that it improves with each new book b seven out of 10 a planetary pleasure
it's a slender book and it's sufficiently written although I didn't find it as engaging as the first book and I'm hoping that there's more hooded Swan action in the next book so 6 and A2 out of 10 joining Generation ship in the no man's land between nebula narrative and planetary pleasure
I liked it a lot eight out of 10 Stella Splender
