I really like the story it's really intelligently told has a lot of epic battle scenes I'm not the biggest fan of battle scenes but the way that he wrote them was really well done and it made me feel very invested in the story

he is a middle- grade author so these books are kind of middle- grade but they're really fun they're really humorous and he sticks pretty close to the original Legends with adding some of his own twist to it as well

I read this book last year and it became one of my favorite books of 2016 it is a wonderful feminist novel which was pretty impressive given the time period in which it was written which was 1800s
