I really liked this one. Better than book one. BK Boris is one of my favorite authors. ... So, it's very forced proximity, and I loved it.
the 11 romance books I've read so far in January πβ¨π· mid-month wrap up
Five stars. This was literally so good. I almost said it was perfection, but I could have used a little bit a little bit more of the present-day chapters near the end. But I loved it.
This was so boring. ... Nothing really made me love them as a couple. Nothing made me love them as characters and it was just like been there, done that with the story. So, three stars. I didn't love this one.
I dnfed Heathen and Honeysuckle. I read that for a vlog and I was not feeling it 3 hours into the audio, so I dnfed.
This specific book just wasn't for me because of the pacing. It's an MM shifter romance. And I love shifter romances.
This is so emotional. ... And I just had so much fun reading this. I did not know who the killer was. I loved that twist that we had and I gave this five stars.
So I really enjoyed this one. I gave it four stars. Very solid contemporary romance. nosy small town people involved as well. Very cute.
Hannah Bottom Young is definitely a very character-driven author. She is a fantastic writer. I loved the writing in here. However, I was just bored.
But this one had a lot to do with grief, so it was very serious. But I really, really like this one. I gave it four stars as well.
I feel like it had good ideas that didn't execute very well. ... So, I didn't love this one, which is all right. Three stars for me.
So we read this one and I really enjoyed it. I think I gave this one four stars kind of going into four and a half, but a lot of Norah's books get really slow in the middle and this one did as well. But the romance was amazing. The suspense was amazing.
