I feel like three and a half is too harsh, but like it's not enough to be a four yet. I still really love the vibes. ... if you're new to Omegaverse and want something cozy, read this one.
the 10 books I read in July ☀️✈️📖 shifter romance, romantasy, and omegaverse
I actually read Heat Haven, which is a novella, which I'm glad I read that cuz like they kind of mention the place that took place at in this one... And I liked kind of knowing the world going into this one.
I listened to it on audio and it was okay. I feel like there was just not a lot to the characters in the plot.
I gave this one four stars. I had so much fun with this one. I really just enjoy Sarah Blue's writing whether it is Omegaverse or just MF.
But I really like this. I gave it four stars. ... I love amnesia romances so I had a lot of fun.
But the novel love story was cute and then this one was really cute in the beginning and then I was just like m it's okay.
So, this one's a shifter romance, which I actually really enjoyed. ... I enjoyed it and I feel like it went by super fast because like the pacing it felt like it was supposed to be part of a series, but then like we just kept on going and wrapping everything up and everything was done by the end.
It was a fun age gap forbidden romance and I would definitely recommend picking it up. It was also pretty short, too.
But the second half of this really just fizzled out for me. I just like not a lot was going on. I wasn't caring about the plot.
I got I think 7 hours into this 13-hour audiobook, 12-hour audio book. So I was over halfway through when I decided to DNF ... So I couldn't get over that dynamic. It just didn't work for me.
I feel like she knocked it out of the park with the first two that she wrote as adult romances with The Dead Romantics and Seven-Year Slip. I loved those.
I read her the Marit text and I was obsessed and she's coming out with the second one of that book.
I will say the end was cool. I was really intrigued by the end. The end kind of raised it to three and a half for me and I'm actually intrigued enough to read the next book but until then I was so bored.
I feel like she knocked it out of the park with the first two that she wrote as adult romances with The Dead Romantics and Seven-Year Slip. I loved those.
And this one I'm giving four stars. Book two was a five star. I loved book two and this one was just kind of I feel like more of the bridge book that usually book two is but it's kind of the bridge to book four which is the finale of the series.
