I'm unfortunately DNFing Exiled by Jessie Walker. There was just too much spice for me. we had already had like four sex scenes at this point and no plot.
my best friends pick my tbr for a week ππ―ββοΈβ¨ book bestie reading vlog
I am reading Liz Tomforde's in her own league, her new one. Loving it.
I've already read The Year of the Gates. I don't think she remembered that I read that book. I actually really liked that. I think I gave it like four stars. I enjoyed it. And it was definitely urban fantasy and fun.
I don't know if I even want to rate this book. I might just be like a no rating because I didn't love it. Like I wasn't obsessed with it and I wasn't like so emotionally traumatized like I was with The Women or The Nightingale, but I didn't dislike it and it was just an interesting read.
It's definitely much more straight-up fantasy than I prefer, and it has a lot of politics at the end. And I have just like quickly lost interest because the romance is like over.
I actually have read Jessie Walker before, and I did really enjoy Where There's a Will, and this one looks really emotional and angsty.
