My Favorite Forbidden, Dark, and Taboo Romances I Read in 2022

and then a thousand boy kisses I loved

this is such a unique Mafia romance and the hero knows he needs to get rid of her at some point but he can't bring himself to do it because he is in love with her

this one took me by surprise because I noticed a couple people who didn't love this book but then I decided to read it for reading and do releases reading Vlog and it absolutely blew me away

this book was a lot of fun definitely top of my TBR for 2023 to read the rest of the series because I can't get enough

It Ain't Me Babe was also on a top 10 list years ago I never continued the series so I reread that one this year

I just really love this one it's very short very quick to get through like the font is pretty big as well

Fausto is such a fun character and he hates the fact that he's attracted to her but he's so into her

I really enjoyed it there are some really dark things that happen to the heroine on page but the hero is literally touch her and I will viciously murder you

I loved Emerson so much obsessed with how protective he was of her especially with her family situation her family were great characters too

I read Rey's like five years ago devoured it loved it obsessed with it

this is flame and Maddie's story and it's definitely very dark flame has so far been the most damaged hero Tilly call always has very damaged people in her books

it was so just emotional I could not put this book down because they do escape and they have to try to enter the real world again

I really appreciated the emotional Journey the heroine went on and having to recover and just figure out herself before committing to a relationship

it was just so good this series is amazing I've only read the first two but they are like dark sweet romances

this one is a dad's best friend romance super big age Gap but it's also a second chance romance and she's engaged to someone else so it has like every single Trope I love super angsty
