This one is just I feel like kind of the first book of a series. It's kind of like getting its groundwork. There's like no suspense in here even though it's supposed to be a romantic suspense.

Loved this. It was so good. Four stars. I do think the middle was a little slow, but I liked there was like a little bit of suspense in here because there was that fire, and she was adamant like she didn't leave anything on, so they're trying to figure out like what happened.

To be fair, I read book one five years ago. I read that in 2021, and I actually gave it three stars. I guess I didn't like it that much.

this book was so good. Like probably going to give it 4.5 stars. I loved it.
