Again the MagicLisa Kleypas
Loved it

Again the Magic, I feel like, is another favorite of hers... Again the Magic is kind of like the prequel of it, but such a good classic series.

My favorite is Destiny's Surrender. She's a sex worker. He sleeps with her, gets her pregnant, so it's a surprise pregnancy, and then they have to be together. All of these, they're so good.

Devil in WinterLisa Kleypas
Loved it

If you have heard Devil in Winter is probably one of the most iconic books by her other than Dreaming of You... He is definitely a morally gray hero in this one, but I really love this entire series as well.

ShannaKathleen E. Woodiwiss
Loved it

this one was so good. Shanna is very annoying, but like very headstrong and she makes for a very great plot... It is so again addictive kind of a bonkers plot line. So fun.

The BrideJulie Garwood
Loved it

And then The Bride I feel like is equally as iconic as The Secret... A lot of hers have really great banter and push and pull between the characters. They are amazing.

The Duke and IJulia Quinn
Mixed

You cannot go wrong with The Duke and I, the Bridgerton series. I will say, The Duke and I was one of my least favorite books in the series. Once you move on, they get so, so good.

The SecretJulie Garwood
Loved it

I feel like The Secret is another one that is just like a staple in historical romance reading... the push and pull in here was everything. I love this one

I ended up giving it three stars because of the history of the book. The romance, not good, but just the idea of why this was so popular at the time period was so interesting to me.

Another one that I would say is the most problematic on this list is Whitney, My Love, and I read the unedited original version... from a historical lens, if you want to read this one, I would recommend it.
