I loved every second of this book. I was literally so giddy reading this entire thing and could not stop. Literally read it in a day.

This was amazing. It was like a shifter guardian academy and I was obsessed. All of them are shifters. We have a basilisk shifter. He was my favorite.

Edge of SteelElizabeth Dear

The spice in here is everything. So book one was so slow burn and this one she put them through their put them in their place. I was obsessed. Five stars.

I think that this was too slow of a plot for me, so I gave it three and a half stars. I really like the characters. I really like the beginning. I really like the romance, but not a lot even happened.

I did give this one three and a half stars because of some of the things that happened third act conflict-wise for me made me not love it as much, but the author I feel like it felt very early on in author's career. The writing was just like a little bit clunky to me.

I'm very conflicted on how I feel about this because I feel like this was such a good age gap romance. However, the heroine felt really, really young to me, and she more so said than told how mature she was.

So, this one I almost want to say I'm not reading it, but like right now it's sitting at a four star because if I ignored that aspect of the romance, I'm really liking this.

So, this one's just okay. I think book one I gave 3.5. This one's like 3, 3.5. I liked it, but it's definitely very forgettable and I'm not like super invested in these characters or their relationships.
