My Favourite Reads of 2019

this is like I said the first book I read this year and it's stuck with me like I'd happily just pick up and read it again now

but I love this and if you like slow stories focus on young girls really brilliantly explores and class that I'd highly recommend this I really loved it

I just adored it and I definitely want to go and read other books so it deserves all the praise it's getting and yeah I highly recommend it.

it is absolutely brilliant and everything I can say for her novel I can say for this it has so many themes and they're all handled with subtlety with grace with new ones and they're all so articulate

I highly recommend it is like exquisitely written every essay separately is phenomenal

son of the shadows was amazing just as good as the first book if not perhaps a bit better it has lots of feminist commentary which I really enjoyed the main character is super strong-willed

this is exquisitely written it handles so many topics with grace I loved the exploration of her parents I thought it was done so deftly honestly
