this is a who done it a murder mystery that you have to solve so bloody What I Hear You Cry The Twist is that the book is exactly 100 pages long all only printed on one side of the page and all of the pages are out of order
The Strangest Books I've Ever Seen
a very famous book that you've probably all read and it's great it's so great in fact that they adapted it into a terrible film with the worst Tom Hanks performance I've ever seen
eventually it becomes so abstract it's like a puzzle and the story itself is really good if you can figure it out
I've had a quick read of this one I admit not the whole thing but as far as I can tell this is just a standard novel in mock Ikea clothing
I think the overall effect is absolutely fascinating it does feel like that we the reader are the next in line we are part of the story the next people that take on this Hall of Mirrors narrative however it does feel like real work some of the time
don't worry about spoilers if you haven't read it I will tread very carefully but I do recommend giving this one a poke I absolutely loved it
this is fighting fantasy book number one the Warlock of firetop mountain by Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson this is a book that I owned as a young lad this same Edition this artwork first published in 1982 I would have been about 8 years old at the time so this book could be the true origin of my journey into genre fiction in many ways
XX is a science fiction story about a signal from outer space that uses various different language models which is reflected in the artwork in the book most of it is normal text normal narrative but go a bit deeper and there's all sorts of document and transcripts
