I loved Bury Your Gaze. I think Bury Your Gaze is definitely my favorite.
reader habits i'm leaving behind in 2025 ππ
It's just like so silly and goofy and it reminded me of Adventure Time with like Spongebob humor a little bit. But like I thought it was delightful. If you have access to a library and they have that at your library, you should check it out.
I honestly feel like Chuck Tingle is the author I have to thank to really get me into horror. I loved Camp Damascus.
This one gives me like Zootopia vibes a little bit. And it's just a fun time. I do wish that there would have been more like hiccups in the plot itself, but it was just so much fun.
I finally decided to crack it open and read it. This is one of those books where I've been kind of like putting it off because I knew that I was going to love it and I did in fact love it.
I've been watching the anime for Let's Play, which is one of my favorite graphic novel series. I say it's one of my favorites, but I've only read like the first volume, I think, of that series.
I loved Lucky Day as well. I just adored this one so much. I don't think it's like my favorite Chuck Tingle, but I loved the exploration of hope in this one specifically.
Recently, I reread My Hero Academia volume 1 for like the sixth or seventh time. I love these characters. I love the action. I love the story. I love an underdog story and that's exactly what this is.
I think I would give this like a threest star rating. It's kind of one of those books where it just like hops around a lot, but it kind of explores like different alien encounters around the world, our journey into space. I do think this is one that more than just the middle-grade audience would enjoy.
It's so quirky and weird and I love it. There's like a talking crow in here and Gumlock the wizard is just like so silly and goofy. It's just so much fun, so whimsical. I'm obsessed.
I really loved this one. It's all about microbes that can be found in your everyday life. And it was so much fun. It's also like written in such a fun and witty way, which I really appreciated.
This is a super adorable and cozy early readers series. And I'm obsessed. I'm not very far into the first book, I'll be honest. I've kind of like picked it up and put it down a few times, but it's just so cozy and cute, and the illustrations are adorable.
