THE WORST BOOKS OF 2023

you want to know the biggest fault of this book it's the fact that it's incredibly boring there is some interesting character work done in this one and it is a very character-driven story

this one also in my opinion was ungodly long for no reason like it just lagged and lagged and lagged and I was just like can it be over yet

I really liked the writing style I felt like it had like this very bubbly light and comedic writing style like I felt like the comedic timing was A+ chef's kiss but there's also like some racist comments made and just like some very insensitive comments made by the mom in particular

the biggest thing that I will say is that I feel like this book needed to be edited like 10 times 10 more times before it hit publication first up the description throughout this book are some of the most questionable I've ever read

the first 50 pages incredibly gripping I could not put this book down I was so into it I was so excited about it I was like finally a book that has an amazing concept that I am obsessed with that is like knocking it out of the park but then at some point in the story it shifts into something completely different and you know what that shift was it was underwhelming
