Worst Books of 2024 😡

A Study in DrowningAva Reid

I loved the sound of that concept but when I reached the end I just felt so underwhelmed by the execution I love the atmosphere it was so good like I would read it again for the atmosphere alone

the tone of this book sets itself up like it's going to be a bit more on the light-hearted side of things as I read on I realized the fact that it was like trying way too hard to be funny to a point where I was just like cringing as I was reading the book

I slugged my way through this book and that's not to say it was bad in terms of the writing style like it's a very accessible and easy simple writing style it's just story-wise is all over the place.

something nice that I'll say about this book is that I really loved the writing style and I really loved the atmosphere like that was something that I was sold on early on and I think that those two stayed pretty consistent throughout the book everything else though no thank you respectfully

The AlchemistPaulo Coelho

I think that a lot of the life lessons are great I just think that this book feels a little bit dated I also just didn't feel satisfied this ended up being a self-help book that I didn't ask for

The Dragon's BrideKatee Robert

I honestly feel like I could have been down with this book had it been fleshed out a little bit more I saw bits of potential in this book but my biggest complaint is that it was too short and that the things that went on in the book kind of overshadowed some of the important messaging that was going on

I do feel like this author has mastered the art of a Nolla again with the salt grows heavy that is also a Nolla and I feel like they knocked it out the park with that one
