I'm not including Between Shades of Gray because I wanted to keep this list kind ofish short, but they are both incredible World War II historical fictions.
I think if you're going through any point in your life where everything is changing and you feel like you're in complete upheaval and you have no clue what is what, this would be a great read for you.
It's incredible. I love it so much.
But this was just a beautiful story about grief and learning to move on and learning to find yourself as a person independent of another person that you've been used to being with all the time.
Also, I meant to mention this before, but honorable mention to Looking for Alaska by John Green as well because amazing.
But it was an amazing story. So poignant, so important, and I think that you just need to read it because it is incredible.
Simon Versus the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertali is also amazing.
It is incredible. The writing is fantastic and I don't even care if you don't like it as long as you have read it because it is magical and beautiful and such a heartwarming but heartbreaking story and I love it so much.
This is a story that will stick with me for quite a while because it is one of the books that I attribute my love of reading to. I think it is a beautiful story.

This book just blows my mind. And the more I think about it, the more I love it because it deals with topics of fate and destiny so well and just so masterfully.
I love everything about this book. It was so much fun, but it also packed a real punch, which is what I really look for in contemporaries is that it's romantic and fun, but it has something going on deeper below the surface.
This story was so well done and I honestly felt like I was just reading about my life and it was incredibly diverse and just awesome in a million ways.
