Books I Gave Up On (DNFed) in 2019!

I think I got like 15 or 20 pages in when I was like wow this is not for me there wasn't anything really wrong with the storyline it was the writing which is very weird

the book just left me wanting more and I think I got about a hundred pages into it and I was like I don't care enough to continue with it

i did like the elements that we're dealing with racism I thought that was very well done and for that reason I wanted to continue but it was really the writing style that I just couldn't get behind

it just wasn't what I was expecting it to be I think I got like 60 pages into it and you had only met one of the love interest and I wasn't even like I don't know it just didn't feel like a romance to me

I think I got thirty pages in and that's pretty good because I kept on having to reread sentences and was like what like I was just question marks the entire time

I actually read the hating game after this and I liked the hating game but the writing for 99% mine was very bizarre

this was a case of not really connecting with the characters but also the writing style just didn't really mesh with me

I started listening to it and I was just like Corinne geing because it's really gross and like I have a very low tolerance for that stuff
