this one is not unlike John Green's Looking for Alaska in the fact that it's very thought-provoking and beautifully written and just honestly blows my mind the fact that it's a debut because the writing is so incredible and the characters seem so realistic and I just felt for them and I felt like everything was actually happening in this book

The Whole World In This Book Is inspired by ancient Rome and the Roman Empire and it is just crazy like this book honestly gave me nightmares and for a book to give me nightmares it has to be like you can only imagine how Vivid the writing is and that world development is and it was just so crazy and it is honestly unbelievable to me that this is her debut because it's so good
I loved the familial relationships in here specifically the sister relationship I thought it was so well written and really reminded me of myself and my own sisters and the creepy kind of circus carnival thing we have going on here just kind of turning the concept of a carnival on its head and picking out all the creepy things and creating this whole thing surrounding it was awesome and so well done
now I will say I prefer Nicola yun's second novel over this one but at the same time this one is still really great the only thing I didn't like about this one was the ending but that being said the writing for this debut is amazing the concept is really cool it's all about a girl who she is sick and allergic to everything in the world
Looking for Alaska is John Green's debut novel he has quite a few other novels but Looking for Alaska is one of my favorites and I cannot believe that this is his first ever novel because it reads like it was written by an author who has been writing for an eternity like the symbolism in it is crazy and it's something that like my English major self just gets so excited about it's so wellth thought out and really just a thought-provoking read and honestly reads like it is his like 10th novel
this one honestly I felt like I was reading the Diary of a teenage boy and it was awesome like it's all about Simon who is gay but he's not really out and he strikes up a relationship with this boy but it's only through email and then someone finds out about it and is threatening to out him so it's all about that and it's just it was so well done
the world in this book is honestly just crazy and doesn't seem like something a debut author could really develop but she does say that she had actually come up with this idea initially when she was 12 years old and I think it's just awesome that she was able to bring an idea that she had when she was 12 years old to fruition and actually get it publish as a really great novel
this book was incredible it is inspired by the black lives matter movement and it is so well done and honestly if I'm going to say one book is thought provoking I've said it about like three books in this video but this is the one that really makes you think and makes you pay attention to something that is so easy to ignore because of how media is portraying things it is just such an unflinchingly honest portrayal of the situation over in the states right now and it is heartbreaking but amazing and such an important read
honestly the writing in this book reads like she has been writing fairy tales since the dawn of time and like when fairy tales were really popular like alongside the Grim brothers because her writing is so lyrical and beautiful and it reads like it's a real fairy tale this is a retelling of a,1 nights and it is just honestly so well written so well done it stays true to the original fairy tale but also twists it up and makes it her own and it's just incredible
Throne of Glass is a debut novel like how crazy is that because honestly Sarah J Mass writes with such a sophisticated writing style right out of the gate it is like she has been writing fantasy novels since she was born it is crazy the way she's able to develop these characters and build this world and keep you intrigued and just wanting to know what the heck is going on the whole entire time
