Favourite books of 2021 💫 Thomas Hardy, Sally Rooney & Susanna Clarke

i was completely kind of sucked in and addicted and obsessed with reading this book so just enjoyable ... sally rooney is just a brilliant writer who at once can have these massive big conversations as well as doing tiny intimate portraits

this is a reread for me and thomas hyde is one of my favorite writers ... this just kind of really reestablished the book as one of my top favorite classics of all time

piranesi is one of my favorite books because it really made me think and i was kind of actively engaged in this novel ... susannah clark plays me so well like at the beginning i'm just as in awe of this world as piranesi is

my top book of 2021 is river kings by cat jarmon ... it really was just the best kind of introduction to me the vikings ... it's a really enjoyable and accessible read but i also think if you kind of knew a lot about the vikings you would still love this book

it's always the book i recommend before tess which is my other great favorite novel

it's so nice to see a book about catherine howard that isn't just a couple of pages long ... i really enjoyed this i especially enjoyed this because katherine heard a bit like the vikings there's a lot of mythology around catherine howard and a lot of prejudice
