My 4 Star Favorites of 2020

this book is just wow i mean intense it broke me okay there were some bits that really were trying that broke me

this is a story about black men and it covers all of the aspects of for example what other people think of black men what black men think of each other as well and it is a book that was rip roaring fun

her first novel is here comes the sun if you haven't read that i highly recommend it as well i gave if i'm not mistaken here comes the sun four stars

i would give patsy about a four and a half and i think it's because the ending is a little bit it's not exactly right

the first half of the book i would say it's maybe 50 pages too long in my opinion there's a lot of repeating and stuff but what i do like about the beginning of this book is all of the atmosphere

the first book that i read by alif shafak was actually the bastard of istanbul which i read with my book club a few years back and we highly recommended enjoyed it

this book right here was so good

if you didn't like the mothers because i didn't particularly like the mothers you will like this one

i thoroughly enjoyed this book i mean an incredible journey reading a story learning a lot about the chinese culture through this main character

i feel like the writing in this book is just absolutely exquisite i know no other way to talk about it

her writing has gone up her storytelling has gone up this was a joy to read

this one was very refreshing this is the story of an indian family

i thoroughly enjoyed it and i enjoyed it all the way up to the end and i what i like is the way ali shafak brings cultural turkish issues into her book
