🙌 My Favourite Reads of 2018!

It's about obsession and self image. About relationships. And set in Ireland which I really enjoyed.

I read some poems from this for work And then I just read the whole thing and loved it I want to reread it.

There's a lot in there But it's absolutely incredible!

The style of it is really interesting, it's really sketchy And there are really beautiful full page ones too

It's all interwoven and I thought it was a really brilliant and gorgeous read.

This was both a really fun and really stressful read. I think it's just incredibly relatable.

I posted about this on Instagram and I don't think I've ever had more messages from people saying 'this is fantastic'. And it is.

It's really beautifully written and had some incredibly awkward scenes.

I think the dialogue sometimes could be a bit improved But I was so struck by the characters and the setting, and it just stuck with me.

I've only read one book by Shirley Jackson before And I really loved just getting to know her writing a little bit more and getting a nice sample of it from this.
