Christmas Book Haul 🎁

Hark The Herald Angels Scream is a horror holiday anthology. It was really bad.

And then he also got me Jane Austen's Bookshelf because I really enjoyed this. Wasn't expecting to and of course, I love to build out my non-fiction section of my bookshelf.

It's by India Holton and I love The Ornithologist's Field Guide to Love and so I'm just assuming based on what all of you were telling me ... that this one ... is going to be a new favorite thing.

I'm halfway through it. ... Katrina Leno does this great, interwoven like supernatural and real life, but without feeling like it's a supernatural paranormal story. ... Very good like holiday season read for sure.

My friend Shannon who wrote Pocket Knife Kitty that I read and loved last year has a story in here.

And Secret Santa is an advent calendar book where each day you open a different chapter and it was also not good. Just for the gimmick and the gimmick wasn't worth it.

he got me The Everlasting by Alexi Harrow, which I gave four stars and I quite liked and I've been thinking a lot about since I finished it.

I also bought The Serviceberry, which I'm going to be donating cuz this just didn't do a lot for me but it's a nice little story about a bird and a berry.
