And I think I'll like it, but this is actually a really good test. It's like are my last remaining Spotify hours worth reading this book or not? And it's another book that I'm going to say no, not at this time.
having a meltdown over my reading challenge ✌️😘 episode 3
I think I definitely get the enjoyment from Mother Thing. I see what other people see in it. It's not necessarily horror book as it's been advertised. There is a certain kind of like fun and satire, but also family stuff.
I listened to Something Good the first couple chapters cuz I thought it was just like a contemporary kind of story, and it's called Something Good, so I thought good vibes. the writing was kind of weak.
It was just not for me. It was so damn boring. I didn't feel any chemistry. The book didn't give me any chemistry.
I'm not particularly intrigued. The writing didn't do anything like super special.
I think I hate this book. I just don't think it's a good book. I think it's really uncomfortable dynamics between so many different characters and so many different situations.
I decided to go back to The Thing in the Snow because this is going to be a win. It's not going to be a new favorite of all time, but I like it. It has a pretty low average rating and I'm going to bump it up a little bit cuz I'm going to give it a four.
this one is just not good on audio. I genuinely didn't even get into what the plot. Like I couldn't figure out the plot.
