to me this it was great I'm giving it a four but it felt very like paint by numbers like you took a writing class
Reading Goodreads Awards 2014 Books
I finished Archer's Voice I think I give it a two because it is a non-offensive book
I've read bad feminist and absolutely loved it
okay I read big little lies I would have voted for that because I loved it
Bird Box I read in loved
the writing is beautiful it's simple enough obviously for the audience intended but can be enjoyed by adults
the last time I read about two people in their romantic entanglement in a lighthouse it ended with one star this one is more like a three I don't really have any feelings
the writing again was not atrocious so I'm going to give it a three
I think it could have Del a little bit more into relationships and emotions and personal stuff but I also at the same time understand why like it's it did what it intended to do
I would be voting for I'll give you the sun because that's incredible
I did dnf Red Rising I actually decided to give it a try I got 10% in and I gave up on it
I also am 20% of the way into the Audi book for the hairy August whatever that one's called and it hasn't really pulled me in or hooked me yet
my favorite of all of these winners was the Martian
the winter people I dnfed
it's just a very introductory kind of cookbook which feels useful and necessary it's just not very interesting
