Black girl unlimitedEcho Brown
Loved it

this is one of the most unique stories I've ever read and I think listening to it is really cool because it's so unique that being told this story helps you get into it even more

How We Did ItKarl Subban
Loved it

he tells the story of his childhood in Jamaica moving to Canada having children and like how he thinks you should raise children and why he has such successful children and again I think it's just hearing someone's personal account is really powerful he also just has a really enjoyable voice

If We Were VillainsM. L. Rio
Loved it

I think that just made it really enjoyable to listen to rather than like read portions of a play it's really cool to actually listen to it like a performance

Into Thin AirJon Krakauer
Loved it

I also recommend into thin air by Jon Krakauer the climb by Anatoly book ray of great nonfiction accounts of climbing it's just something I love for some reason

Little WomenLouisa May Alcott
Loved it

I've listened to an audiobook for this twice in the last month and then read it physically once in the last month and my whole brand is just a little women Stan now I just I love it so much

this along with like every other book that I'm mentioning I loved on its own I love the story obviously so I just recommend the book in general but if you're planning on reading it highly recommend the audiobook

I feel like getting to listen to someone describe it just helps you get the vibe for the storytelling and the setting even more so in this story we're falling in Anishinaabe community and the Power has gone out

On The Come UpAngie Thomas
Loved it

I really appreciate audiobooks that have that type of performance because it's so much more authentic what the author intended then what I can come up with in my head

PrideIbi Zoboi
Loved it

she also narrated pride by Ibiza boy which is another book I love so much it's a Pride and Prejudice remix as it says

The OneJohn Marrs
Loved it

I think I like this one specifically because it does have that full cast and there are so many perspectives and sometimes it can get a little confusing maybe if you're just reading it with your eyeballs

The Poet XElizabeth Acevedo
Loved it

she actually narrates her own audiobook and it's one of the best ones I've ever listened to again it has a performative aspect because she does slam poetry
