Then a bajillion four stars. Agnes Oar's Mystical Cat Shelter by Heather Faucet Under the Eye of the Big Bird by Hiomi Kawakami translated by Asa Yonetta.
20 Books I Read in February
We have Audition by Pip Adam. That started out being something I thought I would love and then it was just okay.
I think this is an impressive piece of work to have and I'm really glad that I read it.
My least favorite book of the month is Books and Bewitchment. It was my lowest rated. I just don't think that this was successful.
I gave this a four 4.25. I post this like favorites of the month every month now, and I didn't have enough five stars, so I had to pick two of my four stars and this one just stood out.
Cape Fever by Nadia Davids was a 3.5. 3.75.
He studies tropical ecology and I learned so much from this. I thought it was a really interesting time. I just love non-fiction like this.
I read Escape by Steven Fishbach.
I also read the latest the ninth Veronica Speedwell, a grave robbery by Diana Rayborn.
I had a really good time with this. I couldn't give it a full five because it was too predictable.
I read I gave you eyes and you looked toward Darkness by Irene Sola translated by Mera Fay Letham that I gave I actually don't know what I gave this a 3.5.
No One Is Talking About This by Patricia Lockwood was a three. No, it was a two. It was technically in the twos.
I read the history of the American bookstore or something like that a couple months ago and I thought it was fascinating. Gave it four stars.
I read and enjoyed the liies that summon the night by Tassja Odet.
I wanted to give this like a three. There was nothing I had a huge problem with, but I just didn't like connect with it the way that I wanted to, but I don't know if it's me or if it's the book, so I'm leaving it unrated.
The Wall by John Langister I gave a three.
To answer the question of my favorite book that I read in the month, it's The Mezzanine. It's a man's escalator ride and just so much overthinking and I thought this was excellent.
And then this one was like a 3.5. I'm holding on to it because it's part of a series and I think it's pretty.
Then a bajillion four stars. Agnes Oar's Mystical Cat Shelter by Heather Faucet Under the Eye of the Big Bird by Hiomi Kawakami translated by Asa Yonetta.
We've got my two five stars of the month. Vigil by George Saunders and The Mezzanine by Nicholson Baker.
And then I freaking loved it. It wasn't perfect. Like, it really was not perfect and it was so slow.
