And Foster by Claire Keegan I gave four stars.
That's a Girl Dinner by Olivie Blake, which I gave two stars
and Hamnet by Maggie O'Farrell that I gave three.
And In Memoriam by Alice Winn, four stars. But watching back my vlog, doesn't it feel like this should have been more than a four?
Back-to-back romance wins, I gave both these 4.2 stars. Promise Me Sunshine by Cara Bastone and It's Different This Time by Josh Richard.
for the first half of this book, Love Is an Algorithm by Laura Brooke Robson, I thought this was going to be a favorite book of the year. I was obsessed with it.
this five-star, The Other Side of Now by Paige Harbison. This is just the perfect Kayla kind of book.
Paradise Logic by Sophie Kim, I gave a five.
Back-to-back romance wins, I gave both these 4.2 stars. Promise Me Sunshine by Cara Bastone and It's Different This Time by Josh Richard.
Reign of Shadows and Endings by Melissa K. Rowell Rich I gave one star.
I ended up giving Seasons of Glass and Iron by Amal El-Mohtar three stars. I read it each story independently and I gave almost all of them three stars. There was nothing that I hated in here
The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison, I'm leaving unrated.
The Poet Empress by Shen Tao I gave three stars.
The Stationery Shop by Marjan Kamali, five stars.
And then of course, I read The Ten Thousand Doors of January, so my favorite characters remain Veronica and Stoker.
The Traveling Cat Chronicles by Hiro Arikawa, translated by Philip Gabriel, four stars.
this is one of my favorite thrillers until it didn't shock and surprise me, which really pissed me off because it was so well written and the audio book was so well narrated.
