I think that this is a masterpiece like honestly an rice might have been absolutely out of her mind but godamn could she write a book i think this is probably one of the best like character studies ever written

I really enjoyed this a retelling of MC Beth from the perspective of Lady McBeth essentially so it gives us her story instead it's very Gothic and eerie and dark and that's exactly what I always want from any a read book that I read

this is truly a perfect Gothic novel it has so many of my favorite themes and tropes that are in Gothic stories and horror stories in particular

it is phenomenal this is exactly the type of story I love ... this is a perfect book to me in the sense that it feels exactly how I want to feel while I read a book

it's really interesting it's very weird very surrealist like I said at times it feels like a hallucination but in the best way and I really love this book

this is by far the trippiest book I have ever read in my entire life that is probably the most accurate way I could describe it ... it's also literally unlike anything I've ever read in my entire life
