View all videosthe love story in this series is so good and it's one of those romances where it just kind of goes back and forth it's a slow burn
I loved the romance in this duology it is slow it is sweet but it's one of those where the characters don't like each other at first but then they go to love each other
I've talked about this book a ton I read it years ago but it still sticks with me
it is a retelling of 1001 nights
I love kuru and Akiva so much their romance and their story just really hit me in the heartstrings
the romance part of this book I feel like was a major plot line and it stole my heart I loved these characters so much
I love this book it was one of my favorite books of 2017 and I loved the love story
I would say the first book Wicked was the best out of the trilogy I loved Wicked
One thing I did enjoy about it was the friend Dynamics I think in general kind of the whole friend dynamic in high school was pretty relatable and it was interesting to read about but ultimately this book was just I was so glad to finish it
I felt like a lot of the ideas and the themes were relevant and poignant and important but I just didn't think they were delivered in a very good way it just felt very contrived I didn't believe in any of the characters in their stories and I couldn't get through this book fast enough
there were some water elements to it and in the end it kind of did go back to that like original Little Mermaid story and kind of like the origin story of Ursula and all of that but it just wasn't enough for me I wanted like most of the book to be like that so I was pretty let down by it
I didn't hate it wasn't terrible but I was disappointed by this last book just because I love the first book so much I just felt this last book was kind of boring I didn't really care anymore
it was good I grew to love the characters I was pretty emotional on the end of it I was connected to the characters I loved the diversity of the book I felt like it have a few strong points it just disappointed me because I was really hoping for like some alien sci-fi stuff and this book didn't have it
I thought this book was absolutely hilarious and engaging and I loved the historical setting of it and I also loved the Magical elements to it I thought it mixed genres so well
it pulled up my heartstrings I loved the family Dynamics I loved all of the themes that were Incorporated and at times it was funny at times it was Whimsical but there was also a gravity to it that just kept me emotionally invested
for me this is such an insightful and eye-opening book full of really emotional and raw and real stories I didn't fall in love with every single one of the stories but the stories that I did love just hit me so hard
this book was a truly powerful read and poetry was the best way to tell it I don't want to give too much information about it because I feel like the importance of this book really comes out as you read it
the writing was so strong and emotional and by the end of it I had chills and tears in my eyes it hit me right in the fields and in the heartstrings and I just thought it was such a beautiful story and it really left an impact on me
the beauty of this book for me really comes from the main character Sarah she is so resilient she goes through so many horrible things but she comes out stronger for it and her spirit just lit up this story for me
I loved the atmosphere and setting in this secluded Vermont Mountain I just thought it was so creepy but fascinating and this story captured my attention it was a great first read of the year and I cannot wait to read the next book
I actually just finished this book not that long ago and I thought it was such a fun time I've heard so much hype around this book and how amazing it is it lived up to the hype for me
this book just put together so many genres that I love I love science I love medicine I love sci-fi I love scary books I love creepy books and this book just kind of put all of those things together and it was beautiful
I read this earlier in the year but it just really like ripped out my heart but put it back together in a good way it was a very emotional read but super good I loved the characters and the relationship that developed
