I loved the journey these characters went on. They were battered and broken by the time we got to this book and you know they wanted to be together and we were at that point where we were like go be together but like so many dark things happened. But I still love the story. I still love this book. I still am obsessed with it.

Others: MixedFrom author Jescie Hall, comes this dark and demanding stalker romance that pushes all the boundaries of exploring sexuality while simultaneously exposing the harsh realities of organized religion. This book explores many dark topics. Please beware of the trigger warnings before reading. Your mental health matters. Fornication is a sin. As it reads, we should flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. They teach us that these thoughts, these actions, are immoral. But that dark side that lives inside all of us, the true nature of man, drives us to seek the need that burns within, demanding to be set free. Deep inside of our bones lies that intrinsic need, one desperate to escape. An innate behavior, seemingly out of our control. One that screams for sins they tell us are condemning. Aero is the throat from which I scream. The dark parts of myself I want hidden from this world are all he sees when he gazes at me beneath yet another mask. He’s the demon drowning me in my own underlying desires. He may never stop. Not until I succumb to my truths, or die beneath the weight of his unrelenting grasp. Because according to him, the life I’ve been living is a hell far worse than death.

Others: PositiveRoslyn Blackthorne is dead. Technically. I faked my death to get out of a loveless marriage but that was only half the battle. To ensure my vampire duke can never find me, I have to run far and fast enough he can’t catch me. Because if he does, it’s over. Not just my life—for real this time—but my entire family’s. So how does the princess of the Blackthorne vampires disappear in a world where every supernatural creature knows who she is? Summon a demon, of course. Pan agrees to keep me hidden, help me start a new life…for a cost. And it’s not my soul he’s after. Oh no, he wants my blood…and my body. But so do they. The shifter twins. The cursed hacker. And, of course, my estranged husband. Starting over should be easy after my bargain with the demon. New name. New job. New reality in a tiny town where no one would think to search. Welcome to Aurora Springs, Alaska, a sleepy place where everyone is hiding something and nothing ever happens. At least it was…until I arrived and people started dropping like flies. It looks like I brought my past, and a whole host of other problems, with me. But that’s not a big deal, right? It’s not the end of the world or anything. WARNING: The Mate Games: Pestilence is a spicy why choose series that is sure to set your…heart…on fire. If you’re not a fan of grumpy dukes with a penchant for pain, purple demons with fancy body parts, nosy hackers with boundary issues, angsty wolf shifters who like to share, sword crossing, and plenty of group activities, this one’s not for you. But if it is…welcome back to The Mate Games, we’ve been waiting for you.

Others: MixedAccording to the FBI, I was considered a serial murderer after three kills. What do they call me after fifty-two? They call me the Silencer. One final bullet would have been all it took to stop me from taking another soul, and I would have been doing Meridian City a service by pulling that trigger. An angel crying for help stopped me, and that night, I took three lives for her. Then three turned into eight. Then eight turned into twenty. Twenty turned into twenty-one. Twenty one turned into twenty-three. Elena Young is the hero in my story, but I’m the villain in hers. And this is the kind of story where the villain gets the girl, even if it kills her.

Others: MixedNotorious Mafia enforcer and right hand of the Cosa Nostra, Maximo DiMarco has always looked out for me. He’s my protector. My brothers’ best friend. My crush—with the body of a god and the mind of a devil. And I am just a spoiled Mafia princess. At least that’s who most people think I am. They don’t look at me long enough to see the real me. But he sees.... He is dark and dangerous and lethal, but he’s the only man who makes me feel like I’m alive. It’s a pity he’s too loyal to my brothers to ever act on the sparks that constantly fly between us.... Or is he? Because when he finally loses control, it’s even more than I ever dreamed it could be. And even though he tells me that the two of us aren’t an option, I see the look in his eyes every time we’re together. He’s only ever a breath away from losing that control again. But Max is a man with a dark past and secrets that he can’t escape. When that past catches up with us, it threatens what might be our only shot at happiness. Because I would give up everything I’ve ever known for a life with him. And when my brothers find out about us, I just might have to.
